Clearing and Space Clearing

Everyone accepts that we experience the world through our physical senses, yet we possess more subtle levels of awareness and sensing ability. There is a lot going on beyond what our eyes register. Most animals instinctively use their sensitivities to energy to avoid places that are not beneficial to them, but most people simply ignore these feelings without having any rational framework to examine them in.

As we all move through life, we often find ourselves encountering (people, places, or situation) that seem to trigger intense thoughts, feelings, and emotions, even instinctual primal reactions from time to time. These reactions can be anything from the heart melting kind of attraction that could be characterized as "love at first sight" to the type of aversion that triggers panic attacks, making people avoid (people, places and situations.)

When we find ourselves consciously or unconsciously thrown into patterns of defensive reaction it's never pleasant, and many times we're generally at a loss to explain why we feel this way, or we just make assumptions and guesses as to why based on logic and the most likely scenario.

Oftentimes thoughts, words, or actions of others have caused us stress, and an energetic residue of varying intensity has been left behind, unresolved, in the environment, or in our personal energy. During a clearing session, I work with you and the space to address and process whatever stress is ready and able to safely and comfortably be discharged. I do not try to "heal or fix you or the environment". I simply attempt to locate and clear stress, to help gently bring back balance for people and their environments. I use the ancient art of dowsing, combined with heart centered compassion, empathy, and awareness to help my clients in a simple, gentle, and respectful way.

A personal clearing addresses only what presents on it's own or what you ask me to clear, I am not interested in uncovering secrets or outing anyone... This is about my simply holding a safe place for a person or a home to let go of whatever they are ready and able to at that time. I believe that lasting change requires safety, and can't be sustained if a person is forced into it. As stress falls away, we are creating more space for you to relax into, and you may begin to notice more conscious choice of how you react to those same stressful people, places, and situations, that may have overwhelmed you in the past. Some general types of stress.

The beauty of the clearing process is that it works even if the origin of the stress seem hidden to you, perhaps from early childhood conditioning, or through unresolved patterns inherited through your "genetic material" via your ancestors. With this simple way of working, it does not matter what caused the stress or why, and during a clearing session, I generally encourage clients to just try and be aware of what ever is coming up for them without attaching a story, or placing any blame, and trying to let it move through them whatever that looks or feels like. From my understanding and personal experience, dwelling in the story we tell ourselvs tends to give it more energy, and helps keep it locked in place. However if in the moment you feel the need to express yourself or talk about the history behind an issue, I'm there to provide a safe, non-judgmental place for you to do so. I do honor that sometimes it is important for people to talk things out as part of their process. Each person is unique and has different needs, and there is plenty of room for everyone's experience.

I do not use devices to do any of my clearing work, however I do employ simple dowsing tools to assist in locating stress for people and places. They are just basic biofeedback devices that can help extend the bodies capacity to sense energy, and they are also amazing assets in helping me illustrate to clients what I think is going on in their space.

After clearing a space, it's important to connect people, with their homes, and land underneath, to facilitate, activate, and anchor healthy Qi and unconditional love throughout. I just facilitate this through clearing, and personally don't do ceremonies or blessings, but for people who are so inclined, I would encourage them to continue to practice their own forms of compassionate based blessings, ceremonies, or spiritual practice after the clearing. Candles, flowers, bells, chanting, or any type of ritual can be performed by the occupants themselves if they want to personally connect with and help maintain balance in the their space.

When clearing in person is not possible, a remote session can be equally effective, but I recommended (for your initial understanding and comfort) that at least the first session take place over the phone. I regularly clear people I've never met in person with nothing more then a name and address, then send a brief e-mail or follow up on the phone detailing any specific issues that may have come up during the clearing.

Working together in person clearing both you and your space is an ideal situation. You can be part of the process, observe and ask questions when they come up, and more fully understand what's going on. However, I get regular feedback from clients that illustrates how clearing is not limited by any distance, time zones, or anyone's active participation.

For someone who has been constantly under stress for a long time, I generally recommend an initial space clearing first (and I always plan to spend some time scanning and clearing the personal energy of the occupants who inhabit the environment, because it's an integral part of the big picture. The space affects the people as much as the people affect the space), and at least a few more sessions of personal clearing over a few weeks. We may need to clear away various layers of surface stress before the core issues present themselves. If this potentially describes you, try to be gentle with yourself and not force things to the surface. Pushing always creates a situation where something pushes back. Again lasting change requires safety, and I have no intention of invading anyone's privacy.

Clearing is totally appropriate as well, for anyone who generally feels great, but may simply want an energetic fresh start after a stressful period in his or her life. Think of it like and energy massage.

Space Clearing is appropriate in any environment. Homes, offices, classrooms, retail shops, restaurants, gardens, hospital rooms, or virtually anyplace people spend time. Places like medical, therapy, or attorneys' offices; or anywhere that people go when they are in pain or under stress often fill up with and attract more disturbing energy, and this could be a factor in why people in many health and service related professions experience frequent burnout.

Clearing is very effective for pets as well.
