About Me
I am a "Subtle Energy Dowser" and "Energy Clearing professional/Educator", who offers a full range of Space and Personal energy clearing services, as well as teaching/mentoring anyone who wants to learn to work with subtle energy
As a child I often felt overwhelmed for no apparent reason, and on visits to NYC, I remember feeling constantly in danger. Simply walking around the city, or as I went past certain closed doors in the building where my family lived, I would pick up the chaos and confusion around me. In my teens I had some scary paranormal experiences. The most memorable was the time I was awakened by the feeling of something sitting on the bed behind me--literally causing me to roll into the depression in the mattress!
I learned to do what many people do when they are overwhelmed. I shut down my feelings, and retreated to the safety of logic and reason. Perhaps this is what drove me to the left brained world of math and science. I earned an Associates degree in mathematics and physical sciences in 1991, and later a Bachelors degree in Environmental Earth Science with a concentration in Geology and Biology in 1994.
After college I slowly began to re-discover my sensitivities, and found that with the accumulation of college and life experiences came a great thirst and aptitude for "all things metaphysical". I began reading whatever I was drawn to from the local alternative bookstore, and gradually found my way to the right side of my brain and back into my feelings. I began to study and explore various forms of astrology, eastern philosophy, shamanism, breath-work, and chi-gong. During this period in my life I spent much time out in nature, hiking and mountain biking in the Mountains around New Paltz, NY. I moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1998 and am currently living in North Seattle enjoying the water, the mountains, and even the rain.
September of 2000 brought a life-changing construction accident—a partial amputation of my left arm! My surgeon, doctors and occupational therapists all expected the worst for me, and continually asked me to not set my rehabilitation expectations so high... I understood their concerns as based on their experience, but I always knew that my arm is and was perfect already!
With lots of free time on my hands, my strong interest in "energy work" re-emerged, and led me to "Clearing and Space Clearing", which helped me remove many of the hidden energetic obstacles in my path; this in turn changed the direction of my life. As my team of Surgeons, Dr's, and Therapists saw me week after week, month after month they began to change their minds as to what was possible for me. One doctor confided in me that when he first saw me, he expected my hand to resemble and be as useful as a claw for the rest of my life. I believe through my dedication to clearing, and my continually pushing my prescribed limits with physical therapy, I have nearly full use of my hand, enabling me to return to my fully active lifestyle... even being able to once again play the guitar! In fact this injury unexpectedly increased the sensitivity of my hand, which is a huge asset in energy sensing part of the Clearing and work I do now.
The past five years have found me frequently traveling around the US, Europe and Mexico. In my travels, I've been dowsing and energetically exploring native American ruins, ancient Mediterranean temples, and many historic Medieval castles and battlefields in Europe, as well as working with the energy of hundreds of other people from different cultures and backgrounds.
One of the results of this experience has been to help me remember, and reclaim my systems natural ability to sense, feel, and clear stress for myself... (we can all do this!). Another result of all this training is my proclivity for being able to help re-balance the subtle energies in and around people, while educating them in ways that they can work to maintain that balance into the future.
I am very grateful to be running my own business helping people find balance in their homes and lives. I get even more satisfaction mentoring others to help them develop or hone their existing clearing skills.
